Overview of Job Duties

Information systems security managers oversee all aspects of technology within their organizations. They ensure that employees and computers are connected to the internet and to each other.

Information systems security managers plan and supervise research on the computer-related activities of business and collaborate to set goals and implement technology to meet those goals. Software development, budgeting, network security, and Internet operations all fall within the responsibilities of the IT manager.

In addition, these managers install and upgrade software and hardware, supervise systems design and programming and coordinate computer network implementation. Education and Training
